Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Pediatrics
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its outpatient pediatrics department. You'll work independently with pediatric patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting, delivering hands-on therapy and rehabilitation services.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM (flexible 8-hour blocks within this window; posted schedule is 9:30 AM–6:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: Up to 26 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- On-Call: No
- Float Required: No
Requirements
- Current California PTA License (must be in hand at submission)
- BLS Certification
- Pediatric experience: Minimum 1 year required (first-timers with 1+ year peds experience welcome)
- Two professional references covering the last 3 years
What to Know
- You'll work independently; strong pediatric background is essential.
- The facility allows one call-off per 2 weeks; guaranteed hours apply.
- You must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
- Candidates with prior Providence facility experience (permanent, travel, or registry) should note location and dates worked.
