Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week)

About the Role
The facility's Radiology department is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging exams. You'll work with adult patients across neuro, musculoskeletal, body, and breast imaging protocols, selecting appropriate sequences for diagnostic quality and collaborating with radiologists on protocol optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams per physician orders; select and execute appropriate protocols
- Screen all patients and staff for MRI safety; identify contraindications (implants, devices, metal, pregnancy)
- Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor for adverse reactions
- Position patients and operate MRI equipment to optimize image quality
- Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety zones and protocols
- Document exams accurately in the facility's imaging information systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers as needed
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) or ARRT (R) with MRI eligibility per facility policy
- BLS certification
- Minimum 18 months of MRI experience in the last 3 years
- Experience with adult, neuro, musculoskeletal, body, and breast imaging
- Familiarity with GE scanners preferred
