Travel RN – Telemetry | Denver, CO | Night Shift

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

This telemetry unit cares for patients with acute cardiac conditions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The unit manages a mixed patient population including post-operative cardiac cases, arrhythmias, and general medical-surgical patients requiring continuous monitoring.

Clinical Scope:

• Continuous cardiac monitoring with rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia management
• Administration of cardiac drips, antiarrhythmics, and other IV medications
• IV and Foley catheter placement; chest tube removal
• Rapid response and code participation
• Patient and family education on cardiac conditions and treatment plans

Shift Structure:

Night shift nurses work alongside a charge RN and CNA support. The team values outgoing, self-directed clinicians who are comfortable taking initiative and collaborating across disciplines.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Demonstrated EKG/telemetry interpretation competency
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted
• Experience with post-op CABG patients a plus
