Join a busy orthopedic/medical unit providing high-quality care to both spine and general orthopedic patients. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a scheduled start of June 8, 2026.
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Unit Overview
This combined orthopedic and medical unit cares for a diverse patient population, including post-operative spine and orthopedic surgery patients. The unit operates with a collaborative team structure across both day and night shifts, supported by charge nurses and patient care technicians.
Typical Procedures & Clinical Scope
- Central line care
- Blood transfusions
- Foley and straight catheterization
- Telemetry monitoring
- Epidural and PCA management
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of current, hospital-based acute care orthopedic experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Orthopedic and/or spine experience
- Med/Surg background
