Night Shift RN – Medical Intermediate Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking experienced RNs for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) in a medical intermediate care unit. This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Unit Details
You'll work in a combined medical-telemetry and intermediate care setting managing acuity across both sides of the floor. Patient populations include ia, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, alcohol withdrawal, GI bleeding, sepsis, PE, UTI, and respiratory failure.
Patient Ratios
Clinical Requirements
- 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Demonstrated competency with trachs, mechanical ventilation, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry monitoring
- Comfortable floating to other units as needed
Location
Candidates must reside outside a 90-mile radius from the facility.
