Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to lead the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services. You'll develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and reduce aspiration risk for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute individualized treatment plans addressing swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders
- Lead communication interventions that enhance both expression and comprehension
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality services to residents
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Sweetwater, TX
- On-call: None
Requirements
- Texas state license (Speech Language Pathology) — required
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
- Current professional credentials and compliance with facility standards
This is a straightforward clinical role focused on resident-centered care with predictable scheduling and no call obligations.
