Labor & Delivery RN — Nights | Asheville, NC
A busy Labor & Delivery unit in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced L&D RN for a 13-week travel contract. This is a high-acuity unit managing a full spectrum of obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies and immediate newborn care.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekends and on-call not required (available upon approval)
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
Clinical Scope
The unit provides care across the full continuum of labor and delivery, including:
- Vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections
- D&C, Cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
- High-risk obstetric management
- Immediate newborn care
- Float capability to MFM, Mother-Baby, and NICU
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
- High-risk obstetric experience
- Immediate newborn care competency
- Active RN license
Required Certifications
- NRP
- BLS/ALS
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring

- Circulating experience
