Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a day shift role in the operating room. You'll circulate open heart and vascular cases in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Day, 4×10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 23, 2026
- On-Call Requirements:
- 1–2 weekday call shifts per week (end of shift until 7:00 AM the next morning)
- 1 weekend call per 6 weeks (24 hours Saturday and Sunday)
- 1 working shift (Saturday or Sunday) per 6 weeks, typically coordinated with weekend call
- May be rotated onto holiday call schedule as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent CVOR experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Permanent Ohio state license or compact license (in hand at submission)
- One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from the past 12 months—no peer references
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions honored)
- Negative drug screen (10-panel + nicotine)
- Background check and ECG rhythm recognition test required during orientation
