Outpatient Methadone Dispensing RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN to provide methadone dosing services in an outpatient clinic setting serving adults with opioid use disorder. You will work under the direction of the OTP Nurse Manager, administering medication and monitoring patient response in a collaborative, compassionate care environment.

Schedule & Duration

• Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
• Hours: 7:00–9:30 AM or 6:00–8:30 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• No float required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer methadone to patients under RN supervision
• Monitor medication effectiveness and patient response
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties in collaboration with clinical staff
• Safely manage medication administration and documentation
• Support patients in active addiction recovery

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years nursing experience
• 1+ year of consistent methadone dosing experience (full-time preferred)
• Must have been separated from the facility for 6+ months prior to application
