NICU Registered Nurse

Location: McKinney, TX

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 guaranteed hours/week)

Contract: 13 weeks

About the Role:

Join the NICU team at the facility's 2nd Floor unit. You'll provide direct care to neonates across all acuity levels, from stable infants to those requiring critical intervention. The unit uses BCPAP and high-flow nasal cannula support, and you'll be expected to attend deliveries, including cesarean sections.

Unit Environment:

• Self-scheduling model
• Float assignments as needed
• Collaborative, team-oriented culture

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years hospital/specialty experience
• Level III NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Ability to attend all types of deliveries, including C-sections

Preferred:

• Demonstrated team player mindset

Dress Code:

• Scrubs: Royal blue and/or white
• Clean, healthy nails; no artificial nails, gel, or extensions
• Hair neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Body art covered when feasible
• No visible piercings except ears

Weekend Call: No call requirement
