Operating Room – Surgical Circulator/Scrub
Position Overview
The facility's main operating room is seeking experienced surgical circulators and scrubs to join a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical program. You'll work in a dynamic 16-room OR managing an average daily census of 35 patients across general, neuro, spine, orthopedic, robotic, urology, vascular, and colorectal specialties.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Day 4×10 hours (06:30–17:00)
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Weekends: 2–3 per 8-week period (in-house or on-call)
- Call: 7–8 calls per 8-week period, including 1 weekend call and 1–2 weekday night shifts (C1: 19:00–07:00 or C2: 07:00–19:00)
- Floating: Rare; within scope of practice as needed
- Time Off: Up to 7 days per contract (finalized at time of submission; no requests post-offer or during orientation week)
Requirements
- License: Georgia or Compact RN license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR preferred
- Experience: Minimum 1 year circulate and scrub experience; charge experience required; community hospital background preferred; prior travel experience required
- Clinical Skills: AAA repair, lumbar/cervical fusion, craniotomy, total joints, robotic cases (general, urology, colorectal), TURP, cystoscopy, arthroscopy, and additional specialty procedures
Clinical Scope
High-volume trauma and surgical services including complex neuro/spine cases, robotic-assisted procedures, orthopedic reconstruction, and vascular interventions. Equipment includes two Da Vinci XI robots, Mako ortho robot, and advanced neuro/spine instrumentation.
Holiday & Compliance
Major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) that fall during your assignment may be required work days. Full compliance required prior to start. Orientation modules are non-billable hours.
