Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac catheterization lab seeks an experienced technologist to support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 12-hour days, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
- Holiday Commitment: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with procedures including:
- Left and right heart catheterization
- High-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Pacemaker implantation
- Peripheral interventions
- Structural heart procedures
- EMCO and EKOS procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of interventional/diagnostic experience in cardiac catheterization
- Current BLS certification
- AART or RCIS certification
- Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiology program
- Prior cath lab experience required
