Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) work on a medical-surgical telemetry unit. This is a 26-week contract position with every other holiday off.
Clinical Scope
You will provide care to patients across multiple medical-surgical floors, including orthopedics, medical-surgical, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and medical-surgical telemetry units. You must be willing to float between these units and to the West Lakes Campus location as needed.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Holidays: Every other holiday off
- Float Requirement: Willing to float across multiple med-surg units; willing to travel to satellite campus
Requirements
- Current, active RN license
- COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap vaccinations required
- Tuberculosis screening (2-Step PPD or IGRA) required
- Drug screening, background check, and criminal background clearance required
- Specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist completion required
- All compliance and integrity forms must be completed during onboarding
