Pharmacist

Pharmacy Technician | Independence, MO | 26-Week Contract

This inpatient pharmacy technician role is based in Independence, Missouri and offers consistent hours in a decentralized pharmacy model with a collaborative, experienced team.

Schedule

• Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts
• 40 hours per week; day/evening rotation
• Every other weekend required; no overnight shifts

Clinical Responsibilities

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing cabinets
• Prepare and dispense first doses
• Perform IV sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding
• Package unit-dose medications
• Refill code blue trays
• Answer phones and provide direct support to pharmacists

Requirements

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing — required prior to submission
• IV sterile compounding experience preferred
• Familiarity with automated dispensing systems and remote order verification platforms is a plus
• Clean scrubs required
