Interventional Radiology Technologist | Asheville, NC

Days | 07:30–16:00 | 13-Week Contract

This busy Interventional Radiology department handles a high volume of both vascular and neurointerventional procedures, supported by a collaborative team of technologists and dedicated nursing staff in each room.

Typical Procedures Include:

• Dialysis access work (Permcaths, fistulagrams)
• Nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms, embolizations
• Y-90, G-tube placements, TIPS, Inari cases
• Cerebral arteriograms, coil embolizations, Pipeline embolization device placements
• Mechanical thrombectomies and vertebroplasties

Required Experience:

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience — must be able to scrub and circulate
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience — scrub and circulate required
• Candidates without IR and neuro-IR experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience:

• Vascular OR background
• Cath Lab experience
• VI Registered technologist

Shift & Scheduling Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:00
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• On-call: Every 7th weekend; one night secondary call per week
• Float area: Vascular OR

Requirements:

• BLS certification
• Moderate sedation experience
• Flexible, team-oriented approach to a fast-paced environment

Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs

This is a contractor replacement position with a 13-week contract based in Asheville, NC, with a target start date of July 23, 2026.
