Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a 13-week contract. You'll deliver age-specific, direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, managing diverse patient presentations and acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and departmental standards of care
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to other clinical team members
• Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations governing healthcare delivery
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment using de-escalation techniques as needed

Schedule & Details

• Shift: 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Morrisville, VT

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current RN license (Vermont)
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC
• PALS or ENPC
• NRP
• De-escalation training

All certifications must be active at start date. If any require renewal, you'll need a current plan in place prior to beginning.
