Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. You'll work days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) on an 8-hour shift schedule for a 13-week contract.
Your Role
You'll develop and implement personalized treatment plans that help patients of all ages improve, recover, or maintain skills for daily living and work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Teaching therapeutic activities to build independence and well-being
- Recommending assistive devices and environmental adaptations
- Educating patients and families to support their progress toward greater independence
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience (required)
- Valid Texas or compact license (required)
- References are not required at time of submission
Schedule Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8-hour days
- No on-call or weekend commitments
- Contract: 13 weeks
