Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment. You'll provide care to patients on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses to treatment during the 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Contract Duration: 18 weeks
- Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Current Ohio the facility license or compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from past 12 months); supervisor or peer references required
What to Expect
- Patient monitoring and vital sign assessment
- Medication administration and treatment delivery
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores required; maximum two attempts)
- Comprehensive onboarding and orientation to facility protocols
Compliance & Screening
- Background check review by facility
- FBI/BCI prints required within 48 hours of contract signing
- Drug screening required (negative 10-panel)
- No open cases or license hits accepted
Contract Extensions
Extensions available up to 18 months; six-month break required thereafter (facility may defer on case-by-case basis).
