Night Shift Medical-Surgical Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract beginning October 19, 2026. This is a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Schedule & Hours
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current nursing license with verification
- COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccinations
- TB screening (2-Step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test and 10-panel drug screen
- Background check, education verification, and credentialing clearances (EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO)
- Skills competency assessment and Joint Commission testing
- Confidentiality and compliance training documentation
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing patients across a range of acuity levels and diagnoses. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, follow facility protocols and standards of care, and contribute to a safe, professional care environment.
