Emergency Department – Night Shift Nursing

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced nurse to join the Emergency Department for night shifts. This is a 13-week contract assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
• Pattern: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Location: Lithonia, GA (50-mile radius; non-local travelers only)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Current Georgia or compact state nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Travel nursing experience preferred

About the Role

You'll work in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing direct patient care across a range of acuities and presentations. Night shifts bring their own rhythm and team dynamic—you'll need strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage rapid patient flow.

What We're Looking For

A reliable, detail-oriented nurse comfortable with the pace of emergency medicine and ready to function as a core team member on the night shift. Candidates with prior travel assignments are preferred.
