Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week temporary assignment in a high-volume cardiac interventional program.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- On-call rotation including weeknights and weekends
- Start date: ASAP
Clinical Scope
You'll support 15–20 cardiac procedures daily, including:
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Mitral Clip procedures
- Chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions
Equipment & Responsibilities
Hands-on operation and management of advanced hemodynamic support and imaging equipment including balloon pumps, Impella devices, intracardiac ultrasound (ICE), AngioJet thrombectomy systems, and laser atherectomy devices.
Requirements
- Current Cardiac Catheterization Technologist certification or equivalent state license
- Strong technical proficiency with interventional cardiology equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
