Operating Room – Travel RN / CST | Corpus Christi, TX

This OR position supports a high-volume surgical department performing a broad range of specialty procedures across day shift. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Shift & Schedule

  • Days: 06:30–15:00
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks | Start date: September 21, 2026

Clinical Scope

The OR team performs procedures across multiple surgical specialties, including:

  • Neurosurgery
  • Urology
  • General surgery & colorectal
  • Plastics & reconstructive
  • Podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics

Call Requirements

Call shifts are mandatory based on unit needs:

  • Weekend call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Weekday call: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM

Float

Candidates may be required to float within the Bay Area OR.

Dress Code

Hospital-provided scrubs.

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Active RN license or CST certification
  • Texas licensure (or eligibility)

Ideal Candidate

Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with solid scrub or circulating experience across a variety of surgical specialties. Candidates without demonstrated OR skills in the specialties listed will not be considered.
