Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shift staffing. You'll care for patients on telemetry monitoring, managing a mix of medical and surgical cases in a fast-paced unit environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 18-week contract
• Start date: October 23, 2026

Requirements

• Permanent Ohio license or current Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from work within the past 12 months)
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Clean background check (no open cases or license hits)

Additional Information

• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments will be completed during orientation; passing scores required
• Background screening and fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Pre-start orientation modules required (6–15 hours, varies by specialty)
