RN Med-Surg Float

Shift & Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend/holiday

26-week contract

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

The Role

You'll float across multiple medical-surgical units, including orthopedics, medical-surgical, neurology step down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg telemetry. You may also float to a second campus location approximately 9.5 miles away. This role requires flexibility and comfort transitioning between different patient populations and acuity levels.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Willingness to float to all assigned units
• Current vaccines: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Specialty-specific competency testing
• Criminal background check, drug screen, and fit test
• Education verification

What to Expect

Standard onboarding includes skills checklist, system access training, confidentiality and security agreements, and compliance certifications. You'll work in a dynamic environment supporting diverse patient needs across multiple specialties.
