Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a med-surg telemetry float position. You'll provide care across multiple specialty units in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 26-week contract
• Start date: October 7, 2026

Unit Details

You'll float to med-surg floors including ortho, general med-surg, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg telemetry. Willingness to work at an additional campus location (9.5 miles away) is required. The 24-hour new-hire orientation requirement will be waived.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Specialty-specific competency testing
• Standard onboarding requirements include vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap), TB screening (PPD/IGRA), drug screen, background check, and health statement
• Skills checklist completion

What We're Looking For

Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize in a multi-floor environment, and comfort with telemetry monitoring and diverse patient populations across medical, surgical, and specialty care settings.
