Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Float Pool
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a night-shift float position across multiple medical-surgical units. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on an every-other-weekend schedule, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Clinical Scope
You'll rotate among several units, including orthopedics, medical-surgical, neurology step-down, oncology, and surgical telemetry. This role requires flexibility and strong assessment skills as you adapt to different patient populations and acuity levels across assignments. You may also be called to support the facility's West Lakes Campus location.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Willingness to float to multiple units
- Ability to work nights and every-other-weekend schedules
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Contract Details
- Duration: 26 weeks
- Start Date: October 7, 2026
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12 hours
- Schedule: Every other weekend; 36 guaranteed hours per week
Pre-Employment Requirements
Standard onboarding includes immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza), tuberculosis screening, background check, drug screen, fit test, and skills verification.
