ICU Night Shift — 6-Month Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 6-month long-term assignment. This is a night shift role in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Days: Every other weekend and holiday
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Duration: 26 weeks (through winter)
Requirements
- Current, valid nursing license
- BLS certification
- Specialty-specific competency verification
- COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and influenza vaccinations
- 2-step TB screening (PPD or IGRA)
- Physical health statement
- Background check, drug screen, and fit test
- Willingness to complete facility orientation and compliance training
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in the ICU, managing high-acuity patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Night shift brings its own rhythm and often a close-knit team dynamic.
