Registered Dietitian – Acute & Rehab Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join its nutrition services team supporting acute and rehabilitation patient populations. This is a full-time position offering stability and predictable scheduling.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 91-week contract
- No onsite weekends; may require on-call or remote coverage as needed
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dietitian License (Texas)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dietetics experience
- Comfort performing nutrition-focused physical exams (NFPE)
- Ability to provide outpatient counseling as assigned
What You'll Do
You will deliver nutrition assessment, counseling, and support to patients across acute care and rehabilitation settings. Your scope includes individualized nutrition care planning and patient education to optimize clinical outcomes.
Unit Environment
You'll work alongside an established dietetics team in a multi-service facility. The role offers direct patient care with opportunities to refine counseling skills in both inpatient and outpatient contexts.
