Electrophysiology (EP) Tech / Nurse — Cedar Rapids, IA

13-Week Contract | Days | 4x9-Hour Shifts

This EP role offers a consistent daytime schedule — four 9-hour shifts beginning at 0700, totaling 36 hours per week. No call. No weekends.

Clinical Scope

You'll work within an active electrophysiology program performing and supporting a range of complex cardiac procedures, including:

• Cardiac ablation
• Cardiac rhythm management (CRM)
• Left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
• Drip/titration of anticoagulation and isuprel

Scrub experience is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of current Electrophysiology/EP experience
• Skills checklist specific to EP discipline
• Active BLS (AHA or ARC) — required
• ACLS (AHA) — required
• Valid Iowa state license
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, or director within the past 24 months
• Valid driver's license

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (verified by driver's license)
• First-time travelers are welcome, provided the 24-month EP experience requirement is met
• Contractors are expected to work 1–2 winter holidays unless the unit is closed
