CVOR Surgical Technologist — Lewisville, TX

13-Week Contract | Variable Shift with Call

This 13-week contract role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cardiovascular OR Surgical Technologist ready to join an active CVOR team in Lewisville, TX.

Shift & Schedule

• Core hours: 08:00–17:00; schedule is variable (4×10s or 5×8s)
• Call is required; specifics discussed during interview
• Weekend expectations addressed at interview
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR/surgical tech experience
• CST certification through NCCT or NNSTSA required
• BLS certification required

Clinical Scope

The CVOR team supports a full range of open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures. Candidates should be comfortable with high-acuity cardiovascular cases and capable of performing all scrub duties in the OR setting.

Floating

Floating to other areas is required as needed.

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs
• No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails; nails must be clean and trimmed
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Facial hair neatly trimmed
• Visible piercings beyond ears are not permitted
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible

Preferred

• Prior experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting of comparable complexity
