Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist for its cardiac catheterization laboratory. You will work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) in a 4-room cath lab performing a wide range of procedures. This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Scope

You'll scrub and support cardiac catheterization cases, STEMI calls, interventional radiology procedures (Permcath, fistula access), electrophysiology cases (device implants, ablations, Watchman procedures), and peripheral angiograms. Patient teams consist of 3–4 staff members per case.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT or RCIS certification
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing cardiac cath cases and STEMI calls
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to scrub and monitor cases independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience scrubbing interventional radiology and electrophysiology procedures
• Familiarity with case charting systems

Schedule & Expectations

• Day shift, Monday–Friday primary
• Alternating weekends required
• On-call duty approximately 14–15 days per month
• Potential to float to partner hospital cath labs for patient transport and case support
• Submit any no-call requests prior to contract start
