Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Lone Tree, CO | Nights | 13-Week Contract
This night shift PCU role is based on a medical unit with a focus on cardiac and complex medical-surgical patients. The unit manages high-acuity step-down cases in a structured, team-oriented environment with consistent staffing and charge nurse support on every shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Self-scheduling options available
Clinical Scope
- Cardiac drips and cardiac catheter management
- Chest tube management
- Wound care
- TPN and lipid administration
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
- BLS and ACLS (required)
- Cardiac or ICU experience (preferred)
- NIH Stroke Scale (preferred)
Unit Environment
The team includes dedicated charge nurses and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with updated lift technology and mobile clinical tools to support safe patient handling and efficient care delivery.
