Emergency Department RN — Nights | Frankfort, KY

This night-shift opportunity places you in an active Emergency Department in Frankfort, Kentucky, caring for a diverse patient population that includes chest pain, stroke, and trauma presentations.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Environment

The ED manages acute and emergent presentations across a broad acuity range, with specialized capabilities in chest pain intervention (including primary PCI) and stroke care. You'll work alongside a collaborative team that includes charge nurses, PCTs, and unit support staff on every shift.

Patient Population & Scope

• Acute cardiac, stroke, and trauma cases
• Emergency and stabilization
• Rapid infusion and blood warming procedures

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Scale

Candidates should have solid emergency nursing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing high-acuity patients independently on nights.
