Medical-Surgical Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking experienced Medical-Surgical nurses for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) assignment on its medical-surgical units. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Unit Details

You'll work in a busy medical-surgical environment managing post-operative patients, with a strong focus on orthopedic cases. The unit provides support through unit secretaries (days) and technicians on all shifts to help you deliver excellent patient care.

Schedule & Float

• 3 days per week, every other weekend
• Float between the two medical-surgical units as needed
• Night shift only

Clinical Scope

• Blood transfusions
• IV and central line maintenance and monitoring
• Post-operative patient care with emphasis on orthopedic recovery

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS preferred (not required)
• Solid foundational experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Experience with post-operative patients, particularly orthopedics
