Assignment Overview

The facility's operating rooms perform a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, ENT, general surgery, spine, robotic surgery, and organ transplants (kidney and liver). You'll work in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting high-acuity inpatient cases.

Position Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: Late October 2026 (4 weeks for compliance processing)
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Location: Primarily West Main campus; possible float to East or CVI OR
• Float Required: No
• Orientation: Weekly, Mondays (barring holidays)

Required Skills & Certifications

• Ability to circulate ortho, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants
• Scrub skills highly preferred
• Current BLS certification

Schedule & Expectations

• No on-call requirement
• May be asked to work holidays and weekend rotations during the contract
• All requests for time off must be approved and submitted at time of application

Eligibility

• Must reside outside 50 miles of the facility
• Applicants who worked at the facility within the last six months (permanent or per diem) are not eligible
