Cardiac Cath Lab – Smyrna, TN
Position Overview
Join the cardiac catheterization lab team for a 13-week contract. This is a weekday-based role with on-call responsibilities, offering a strong clinical foundation in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Format: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- On-Call: 8 weekday call days and up to 6 weekend call days per month
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
Clinical Scope
Role Requirements
- RN or Tech: Current RN licensure or ARRT/RCIS certification required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years cath lab experience (diagnostic and PCI) in a community hospital or mixed IR/cath lab setting preferred
- Core Competencies: Monitor management, circulating (RN), sedation (RN), and scrubbing (Tech)
- Advanced Skills: IR, specials, and vascular procedures preferred
Floating & Coverage
Radiologic techs with multi-modality experience may float to IR, X-ray, CT, or MRI. RCIS may float to IR or endovascular lab. RNs provide cardiology coverage in non-invasive imaging, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine. No floating outside the cardiology service line.
