Endoscopy Technician
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to join the endoscopy suite on a 13-week contract. You'll support a busy procedural team performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in endoscopy or related procedural setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider needs
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
- Day shift availability required
- Rotating call schedule: approximately 7 days on-call per 8-week period
- Typically includes 2 weekend days, 1 Friday, and 4 weekdays
- Days may rotate week to week
- Staff will coordinate call sign-ups; you'll rotate alongside the existing team
What You'll Do
Assist with patient preparation, equipment setup, and procedural support during endoscopic procedures. You'll maintain instrument integrity, ensure proper sterilization protocols, and provide excellent patient care in a collaborative clinical environment.
