PACU Nurse – 90-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced PACU nurse to join the post-anesthesia care unit. This is a 90-week contract position offering schedule stability and the opportunity to build expertise in acute post-operative recovery care.

Shift & Schedule

• Three 10-hour shifts per week
• 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 30 hours per week
• Guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of PACU experience
• Current RN license
• PALS certification preferred

About the Role

You'll provide direct care to post-anesthesia patients across the recovery spectrum, monitoring vital signs, managing pain and nausea, and supporting safe discharge criteria. The PACU manages patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
