Surgical ICU – Nights (Atlanta, GA)

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the surgical ICU, working nights. This is a direct patient care role supporting high-acuity post-operative and critically ill patients.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: Every Monday
• Scrubs: Navy blue
• Travel radius: 50 miles; local candidates only

Key Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum 18 months ICU experience within the past 3 years
• CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) certification required
• Strong surgical/critical care clinical skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity post-surgical patients

Clinical Scope

You'll deliver care in a surgical ICU setting, managing post-operative and critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions, including renal replacement therapy. This role demands strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
