Surgical ICU – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced ICU nurse for its surgical intensive care unit on a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment managing post-operative and critically ill surgical patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Start: Mondays, beginning October 19, 2026
• Scrubs: Navy blue

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• CRRT (Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience within the past 3 years
• Strong surgical and critical care skills
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius (local candidates only)

What You'll Do

Care for post-surgical and high-acuity ICU patients, including those recovering from major surgery, on mechanical ventilation, and with complex hemodynamic needs. You'll collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive bedside care.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Flexibility: Available to start any Monday
