Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Lymphedema
The Opportunity
The facility's outpatient rehabilitation department is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a specialized lymphedema care team. You'll deliver direct patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting while working with diverse patient populations across the adult lifespan.
The Role
- Provide lymphedema management, assessment, and treatment
- Conduct adaptive equipment assessments and functional rehabilitation
- Perform splinting (static and dynamic) and patient/family education
- Collaborate daily with OTs, OTAs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, wound care specialists, compression fitters, and lymphedema vendors
- Treat 5–7 patients per day with diagnoses including post-surgical conditions, amputee care, arthritis, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries
Requirements
- Lymphedema Certification (must be in-hand at submission)
- Georgia OT License (pending acceptable at submission)
- NBCOT Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience (first-time travelers welcome)
Schedule & Location
- Shift: 4x10 hours, 07:30–18:00 (5x8 also available; manager is flexible)
- Days only — no weekends, no call
- Contract: 24 weeks
- Location: Fayetteville, GA outpatient facility

Within scope of practice to an acute care inpatient facility as needed.
