Med Surg Tele

Adaptive Acuity / Med-Surg Telemetry Charge Nurse — Night Shift | Springfield, VT

This 13-week contract places you on an adaptive acuity unit that flexes between med-surg/telemetry and progressive care depending on patient census and acuity. Charge Nurse experience is required — candidates unwilling to take charge will not be considered.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour nights
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as scheduled

Clinical Requirements

• Active drip management is essential: insulin, esmolol, and sodium drips

• Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice

Required Experience & Credentials

• 2+ years of current med-surg/telemetry experience
• Charge Nurse experience (required)
• PCU experience (strongly required)
• ICU experience (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 3 months prior travel nursing experience (non-negotiable)
• Vermont RN license or Compact license
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS

Skills checklists for PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry (within the past year) and one supervisory reference (within the past two years) are required at submission.
