Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical, Telemetry & Progressive Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN to work nights in a small, rural setting serving a diverse patient population from newborn to geriatric. You'll provide care across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patients, working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend; holidays as needed
- 13-week contract
- No on-call
Clinical Requirements
- 3+ years combined experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Must be comfortable managing all three specialties
- Previous travel and/or rural healthcare experience preferred
Licensing & Certifications
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required at submission)
Key Details
- Personal scrubs of any color
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no requests approved after upload
- Must commit to working two holiday blocks: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- Own transportation required
- Must reside outside 50 miles of the facility
- Supervisory reference from past two years required
This is a full-time assignment for nurses ready to work independently with minimal orientation.
