Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) in a cardiac catheterization lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
About the Role
This is a primary cardiac cath lab with a STEMI PCI program and low-level electrophysiology procedures. You'll assist with interventional radiology as needed. The unit performs heart catheterizations and pacemaker implants, providing a focused, clinically rich environment.
Requirements
- Licenses & Certifications: RT, RCIS, and NH State Imaging License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Experience: 3 years of cath lab experience OR 2 years in a high-volume lab
- Advanced Skills: ACLS, STEMI PCI experience, IVUS, and balloon pump competency
Schedule & Expectations
- Hours: 36–40 hours per week (4 × 10-hour days)
- On-Call: Approximately 10 days per contract period, including 1 weekend (staffing dependent)
- Float: Support ER during patient surges as needed
- Dress Code: Hospital scrubs
