Physical Therapist Assistant – Day Shift

Position Overview

Work under the direction of physical therapists to deliver therapeutic care to patients across a range of treatment modalities. You'll play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions as directed
• Document patient progress and report treatment outcomes to the supervising physical therapist
• Build and manage your caseload using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities
• Communicate any barriers to treatment completion with facility leadership

Schedule & Contract

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8-hour days
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Guaranteed hours apply when you remain onsite and available, provided the facility cannot supply sufficient patient volume

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience (required)
• Valid TX or compact license (required)

What to Expect

You'll work in a patient-centered environment focused on functional recovery. The facility expects clinicians to proactively manage their caseloads while meeting productivity standards. Missed or shortened sessions should be rescheduled when clinically appropriate.
