Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
Join the Emergency Department at the facility in Tuscaloosa, AL as a Registered Nurse. This is a 7-week contract assignment working the 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shift, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. You'll be part of a 24/7 team delivering comprehensive emergency care to all age groups.
Clinical Scope
Scheduling & Expectations
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as required
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
Requirements
- License: Registered Nurse – State of Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses)
- Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Experience: 2 years of nursing experience (or 18 months with highest-level licensure plus 2 years recent specialty experience)
- Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS; TNCC; NIH or Red Cross certification
