Medical Surgical – Telemetry | Night Shift | Belton, MO

This Med-Surg Telemetry unit provides care for a diverse adult patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and general surgical support. The team is collaborative, with case management, PT, OT, and speech therapy co-located on the unit floor, and daily multidisciplinary rounds to coordinate patient care.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 4 x 12 Nights (19:00–07:00)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 14
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per month

Clinical Scope

Procedures and skills utilized on this unit include general surgery support, EKG, echocardiography, TEE, EEG, colonoscopy, and wound vac management. Nurses work with a patient assignment of 5–6 patients per shift.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Dress Code

• RN/LPN: Grey scrubs
• PCT/CNA: Navy scrubs
