CVOR Surgical Technologist — Wichita, KS

4 x 10 | Days | 13-Week Contract

This travel CVOR Surgical Tech role is based in an active open heart surgical program in Wichita, Kansas. Vascular training is required — candidates without it will not be considered.

The Unit

You'll work alongside a close-knit surgical team in a dedicated cardiovascular OR. The program performs a high volume of complex cardiac and vascular cases, including CABG, aortic valve replacement (AVR), mitral valve replacement (MVR), and TAVR. An ECMO program is also resuming, adding further clinical depth to the assignment.

Schedule & On-Call

  • 4 x 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • No night shift; on-call coverage required 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
  • Vascular training (required)
  • BLS
  • NBSTA Certification
  • Active Kansas surgical tech licensure

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS
  • Open heart and cardiovascular surgical experience
  • Prior cardiovascular OR charting experience
