CVOR Surgical Technologist — Wichita, KS
4 x 10 | Days | 13-Week Contract
This open heart cardiovascular OR unit is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist with vascular training for a 13-week travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas.
Shift & Schedule
- 07:00–17:00, four 10-hour days
- No night shift; on-call only overnight
- On-call required: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Clinical Scope
The unit operates dedicated cardiac OR suites performing a high volume of open heart and vascular cases, including:
- CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
- Vascular procedures (vascular training required)
- ECMO program currently restarting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Surgical Tech hospital experience
- Vascular training — required; candidates without will not be considered
- BLS certification
- NBSTA certification
- Active Kansas licensure
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Open heart and cardiovascular surgical experience
- Prior cardiovascular OR charting experience
