Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
Join a collaborative interventional cardiology team in a busy, fast-paced cath lab. You'll support a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures in a 2-room lab with 6 holding bays. The environment values teamwork and efficiency—quick turnaround times and a strong work ethic are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current radiologic technologist registration (ARRT)
- Demonstrated experience scrubbing and X-raying cath lab cases
- Comfort working in a high-volume, dynamic setting
What You'll Do
Work as part of a 4-person team supporting procedures including:
- Right and left heart catheterizations
- Peripheral and carotid angiography/stenting
- PE/DVT interventions
- Impella/IABP support
- Transesophageal echocardiography and cardioversion
- Pacemakers, IVC filters, and ECMO cannulations
Shift Details
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are busiest; Thursday and Friday lighter
- On-Call: Approximately 15 days per 6-week cycle (self-scheduling)
- Float Potential: May assist other departments if cath lab census is low
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts or until procedures conclude
